Consultation summary:

Devon's schools, Devon County Council, and the Learning and Development Partnership are creating a vision for learning in 21st-century Devon.  We want  your opinion on the vision, and any views you might have on transforming learning.

Background:

With the Government's Primary Capital Programme (PCP) and Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programmes on the horizon, and Devon’s unique challenges at the front of our minds, we have tried to scope a vision for the future of education in the county.  The world is evolving and education must meet the changing needs of pupils now and in the future.
The Vision document (see background information) stands as a statement of agreed principles for the development of educational provision in Devon.
Children and Young People's Services

Purpose:

We believe that any new provision, including projects completed under the Primary Capital Programme or Building Schools for the Future, can be constructed on the bedrock of this agreed philosophical approach to the business of education.  Please give us your opinion on Devon's vision for learning by contacting us via the details below.
