Consultation summary:

Devon County Council Local Authority, following consultation, have issued a Public Notice on the proposal to enlarge Lampard School from 69 to 80 places and re-designate the school from admitting pupils with Moderate and Complex Needs to take pupils with Complex Needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorder with effect from 19 April 2010.

Background:

Devon County Council Local Authority recently consulted on the proposal to enlarge The Lampard Community Special School from 69 to 80 places and re-designate the school from admitting students with Moderate and Complex Needs to take students with Complex Needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorder with effect from 19 April 2010.
 
A public Information Surgery was held on Tuesday 15 December 2009 from 3:30pm - 6:30pm at The Lampard Community School.  
 
7 responses were received to the consultation.  4 of which had concerns regarding parking and traffic in St John's Lane, 1 objecting, 1 in agreement and 1 response from the Student Council of Lampard School commenting on the proposal.
