Consultation summary:

Conservation Area Character Appraisals and Conservation Area Boundary Reviews for Forde Park, Wolborough Hill, Newton Abbot Town Centre, Devon Square and Courtenay Park.

Background:

Conservation Area Character Appraisals that have assessed the qualities, features  and importance of the existing Conservation Areas of Forde Park, Wolborough Hill, Devon Square and Courtenay Park have been prepared.  Within the documents there are proposals for Conservation Area boundary alterations to Forde Park and Devon Square and Courtenay Conservation Areas.  There are also proposals for actions that promote the management of the Conservation Areas.
 
A public exhibition is to be held at Newton Abbot Town Council offices, Devon Square on 7th and 8th January, 2010 and a public meeting is to be held at the same offices on 12th January 2010.  Documents are available to view at Teignbridge Council offices during normal working hours and available on line (background information)
